The topic of this book is quite difficult to talk to children about. I do feel this book covers enough information to just start out with the basics for children. I do believe we should start exposing our children to sex at a young age, by doing so we are showing our children that sex is a natural thing and we should not shame the topic. I do think the information is a lot for one sitting, especially for a young child. The book does its purpose for introducing the subject to young children. ( )

Sex is a subject that is not always comfortable to talk about especially with younger children. In the beginning of the book, I felt a little uncomfortable just thinking about reading this to a child, but as the story went forward the authors added some important points. I think it is important for children to know about their own body and the opposite sex. This book consistently reminds the reader that everyone deserves respect for their own body and that respect should be given to others. The book doesn't go into too much detail about anything sexually related like pregnancy, genetics, the reproductive organs, etc. but it does give a good general understanding of the genitalia. Books like these need to be exposed to children, however, I'm not sure if this would be my book of choice. ( )

I personally think that this book is more suitable for teenagers who are going to the change of puberty. So many things happen around that age that leave questions unanswered. I think that this book is a VERY honest approach with dealing with these things. I appreciate this book for its detail in showing the differences between boys and girls, and where babies come from. I wouldnt read this with a classroom before getting permission from the parents. ( )

This is the first time I came across a book where they actually explains in detail and show everything for Pre-K children. It is great for them to learn at a young age. This book went fully in detail about sex, body parts, and babies while being age appropriate. This is one book I will get for my niece which is a first grader who loves to read. ( )

Informative and yet not overwhelming for the little ones. This is a great conversation piece to start talking about the difference between boys and girls. It also has a short introduction about sex. The illustrations and the context of the book is all done in good taste.
