Just Dream Hop, and head on to the next dream! Written in rhyme with colorful, busy pictures, this book is good for fearful children to remember that they are in control. ( ) Wonderful rhyming. Cute story. Great illustrations with tons of little surprises hidden on each page. Here's the rub: It's a book about how to "hop" out of a dream when it gets too scary which ends with the kid waking up in his own room, heaving a sigh of relief, then realizing there's a big scary monster under the bed! The last page is this kid cowering under the covers looking frightened to death while a big toothy grin glows from under the bed! I read it for the first time with my 5-year-old and she snatched it from me and flipped the last page over and back several times then looked at me like" "WTF?! That's the end?!?!" Not cool, Julia Durango. Not cool. This is a wonderful read aloud. My 6 year old son finds it rather unnearving but loves to read it (just not at bedtime). This book features a little boy who has the amazing ability to hop from one dream to another. If a dream is to scarey he simply hops to the next. This book could be a good lead into talking about dreams in a classroom of young children. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
