A very large format book that turned out to be so unappealing that I didn't even check it out, and now, I can not remember why. I blame the art work.

An informational book dealing with science and nature, particularly about squids. ( )

This book truly recreates what "must" be like in the ocean. I love the feeling that I got while reading this book. Again, it has great pictures. It talks about squids and their environment in an unconventional way, the words rhyme like in a poem. ( )

If your reader has a fondness for pictures I think this book is a great option for that. This book dives into the information about squids, where they live, the anatomy makeup of them etc. But I think the unique thing about this book was the close up pictures and the use of dark colors to show the natural environment of the squid I think was a smart use of color in this book ( )
