This is a biography of Diane Spencer's life before during and after she married Prince Charles. It was wonderful to read about her background as a school teacher, and her growing up one of Britain's oldest and most important families. The Spencers were considered close family friends to the royal family. As her marriage became more unhappy, the attention she received from all the publicity was very intense for her. It was sad she had to die from the result of being stalked by photographers when she was trying to have some happiness in her life. Wonderful representation of her life with great photos included with text. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

As a biography of Diana Spencer, this work is quite serviceable. The text is accurate (with no noticeable errors) and presents a fair, if sympathetic account of Diana's life, including the difficulties in Diana's marriage to Charles and the aftermath of their divorce. Photographs appear on every page or two, and serve to hold the interest of the reader. Further, while the work is aimed at younger audiences, it does not condescend; adults would find the book informative and enjoyable as well. For those who might like to learn more about the life and legacy of the late Ms. Spencer without tackling a full scale biography, this book is an ideal choice. ( )
