Werk-InformationenDrowned in Demand (novella) von Gaja J. Kos Keine Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. ![]() ![]() I won this book off of LibraryThing. The author emailed me the book quickly. This is an extremely fast read. It took me around 15-20 minutes. It was 670ish pages on my kindle. The review: You start off following Dawn, a hit woman. She is given orders on who to kill by Aelius. Aelius, we later find out, is a fallen angel, while Dawn is a water nymph who uses her siren to lure men to their death. The story reveals sexual tension between the two as Dawn does his dirty work for him. You get a glimpse into her past and the back story of how both came to their current situation. The story was a little too quick for me. I would've loved to see the characters blossom more. All in all, a decent book. Probably wouldn't read again, but still a book to pass the time. Gehört zur ReiheDrowned (1)
Dawn is a Rusalka. But not quite. During her fifty-year imprisonment in the humid morass the water nymphs call home, she had managed to hold on to some of her humanity. Aelius is the person who had tethered her back to the world she had once known. A ruthless businessman, eager to dispatch his competitors. Permanently. A water nymph's sexuality is a weapon. But when it comes to her employer, Dawn is the one left defenseless, submerged in unfathomable attraction for the mysterious man. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
