Animal Stackers would be great to help children learn their ABC's. The letters stacked on each page make up the name of the animal which I think is great for teaching students about the different animals as well. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend reading this poem to younger children. There is not a lot of rhyming and the story is hard for myself, as an adult, to follow. ( )

Unless you're using this to inspire your children or students to create acrostics (not stackers, not anagrams!!), skip it. The 'poems' do not have rhythm, rhyme, metaphor, or grace. The pictures are only ok. And why is the jaguar riding in a Rolls-Royce, not in a Jaguar? In fact, since your kids could create more charming acrostics themselves, let them, and skip this anyway. It could have been so much better. ( )

The theme of this book is about learning ABC and try to see ABC's in things around us, like zoo animals. The rhymes in each page arranged such that when they are stacked they make the name of an animal. At the same time that the children will learn about alphabet, they learn about different animals or fairy tale creatures. This could be a good book for beginner readers. I personally think some of the pages did not make sense. It has to be written in a way that makes the job of explaining easy.

The book illustration was amazing however the story was in my opinion boring.
