This was one of my most anticipated books of the year. The previous Hashtag series ate my brain and caused me to not sleep for nearly a week as I read them at night, one after the other. I read #Junkie the day it landed and lost sleep again, despite being away on a work trip. That said, I wanted more A-plot, less angst and navel gazing. I thought #Junkie had just the right balance between racing, catching up with the characters from Hashtag, and Trent and Drew discovering their relationship. In this book, most of it focused on their relationship, some on Trent's issues with his frat and that resolution, and very little on the racing. Maybe that was to be expected given that the focus of the series is supposed to be on #Trew (Yes, I did use that. I feel a little dirty now.) but I had wanted a bit more of a balance. I did love the eventual resolution of the Omega issues and that Connor et al got theirs in the end. My secretly vengeful little heart enjoyed that. I also liked seeing a more human side to Lorhaven and Arrow, but I wish they could have played a bigger role. I am a bit sad that the antagonistic rivalry between Drew and Lorhaven has become some more civil and (alas) boring. AND! I wanted way more Joey than that one measly scene because she is awesome and I adore her. I'm glad at the hints that she'll play a larger role in future books. (Also, there was a typo-slip at the end that threw me out of the book as I was smiling through the epilogue. Hopefully that unfortunate "Zach" instead of "Jack" will be fixed eventually.) That said, overall I did enjoy the book and will definitely read more Hebert writes in this series. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

I mostly read this because this was, in effect, the second half of #Junkie. Easy read, mostly I've already forgotten what happened. I might read Arrow's book at some point, but I'm in no real rush. ( )
