Sun is a book about what the sun is and how important it is to our planet. It starts off my saying that the sun is a star, and it is one of 100 billion stars. The sun helps give us light during the day, and keeps our planet warm. There are many more stars just like the sun but are too far away from us to see them. If we were too close to the sun, life wouldn't be possible on this planet. It says that we are just the right amount of distance from the sun. Also if we were too far away, then it would be too cold for us to live. The sun also provides vitamin D which can help us makes our bones strong. At the end of the book, there are a few facts about the sun like the sun is 100 times bigger than the Earth. Also, the sun is about 93 million miles from the sun. This book is a good book to recommend children on this topic. It has tons of helpful facts that can be useful. ( )
