In this excellent novel, Fabio Stassi, a contemporary Italian novelist, with autobiographic and symbolic character, expresses his love for the book, giving a panorama of the world literature. Like Jorge Luis Borges he believes that everything in the universe has been included in the pages of a book. God if exists is a God creator and his creation is chaotic. In human society there is not Justice and human being is completely alone, insecure and unhappy fool of traumatic experiences and phobias. Human like the acrobat is walking on a thin string and can easily fell into the abyss. To avoid it, human must use his/her own powers and activate his/her own skills, Life is like labyrinth with infinite possibilities to walk on this rope. In order to find a guide in this labyrinth and to discover a meaning in this miserable life, Stassi suggests among other like religion, witchcraft, science, etc., Literature and based on ancient Greek ideas presents the Booktherapie as a psychological therapy for all the traumas caused from a chaotic environment. His methodology is simple. Human being must put it's life within a frame to be able "to see it's horizon" and not to be imprisoned in a chaotic life like the prisoners of the fortress of If (Count Montechristo) whose openings at their cells didn't allow them to see any limit, any horizon and only the infinite sky. In this limited space human can activate some skills like memory, logic and imagination in order to extract all this material from the literature which will help it to design it's life path, to find a life meaning and to approach, always only partially the truth, because only a partial view of Truth is possible. Literature is always linked with lies.At the end all the heroes are saying us that Lonliness is the only truth. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
