It was nothing if not entertaining though. ( ) I did not like this one as much as I did Willard and His Bowling Trophies but I still read through it in a single sitting. I really appreciated the surreal and colorful setting, a different colored sun each day of the week, the related watermelon types, the bizarre statues, and especially The Forgotten Works. The forgotten things of the book took the dream-like appearance of A.I.-generated things; things that at first glance appear familiar but on closer inspection are useless alien globs of nothing. I would recommend this one to anyone looking for something different and who may enjoy its surreal quality.

iDEATH is a place where the sun shines a different color every day and where people travel to the length of their dreams. Rejecting the violence and hate of the old gang at the Forgotten Works, they lead gentle lives in watermelon sugar. In this book, Richard Brautigan discovers and expresses the mood of the counterculture generation. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
