lvaro Siza Vieira recalls the 'emotion and enthusiasm of witnessing' his first built project of houses being constructed An early residential project from 65 successful, international architects are featured in this special edition Read their experiences and vision for their first house design and how their approach to architecture has developed over the years This special issue contains an early residential project from 65 successful architects from around the world. International practitioners such as Han Tumertekin, Gurjit Singh Matharoo, Tatiana Bilbao, and Andra Matin are featured. Works from Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Lacaton & Vassal, RCR, and Brooks + Scarpa are also included. However, for some the vision has developed and matured while keeping the basic concept. With projects spanning 60 years, it is insightful to not only see the different periods of design, but also how each architect has changed during the course of their career.
