Being a bit of a history junkie, I really enjoyed this novel. I certainly had fun traveling down memory lane, back to my high school Latin classes. This story really did have a little bit of everything: history, love, friendship, mystery and Sci-fi. The characters were deep and very well written. The chapters alternate between characters and as you delve deeper, you begin to see how they are all related. I would describe it as a modern day psychological thriller with strong historical references. I found myself unable to put this down and experienced some reader's remorse because I was so caught up in the story and characters. Expect the unexpected. Can't wait to see what happens next! ( )
