This cute story can be used as just a cute Christmas story but it can also be used to teach cause and effect. The book is about a mouse had to make something besides cookies for Santa. ( ) The baby mouse eats all the cookies then was asked what he wants for christmas. her mom suggested her a body armor, she responded " because of all the dragons". The little mouse wanted to make santa christmas cupcakes. The graphics show all the steps of making the cupcakes. Then the baby brother starts to cry. Mom leaves the Kitchen and tell baby mouse not to touch them and ends up preparing them. Suddenly she hears a roar, the dragon. Then barges into the house and baby mouse faces him with bravery and fight him and defeats him. But in the end she eats all of them and left one with a bit on it. It was an okay book. This book did not have many teachable moments in it but was overall a cute christmas story. It does highlight over being a unique individual and wanting to make your own of something.This book could also be used as a cause-and-effect lesson.
