This is another great science comic! I like that this book addresses misconceptions about clouds and what they mean for the weather. The book also uses kid friendly vocabulary but does not leave out the vocabulary important when learning about weather. In this book a girl shares what clouds really mean to the other kids on her soccer team. She does this by drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. I could see myself using this book in a science talk around clouds and weather in the classroom. I think it could be good for that because the book is full of great information the kids could get into. ( )

This book is a part of a series called "Bel the Weather Girl". This book is told through a narrative. In each chapter there is a question that is brought up about weather. Bel tries to answer the question using what she knows about the Weather. I especially like how the main scientist in this book is a girl. I see the value in the underrepresented group of women in the STEAM field being represented. This book could be valuable to teaching the water cycle, more specifically cloud formation. This book could also be valuable to empowering all students to question and try and be scientist. ( )

This book uses the story about kids at a soccer game who are wondering if its going to rain to teach about different kinds of clouds. They learn what they look like and what kind of weather they bring.
