I received a free review copy of this audiobook. It's a decent adventure story, suitable for kids. Personally, I found the ending to be kind of a bummer. ( )

This is an exceptional audio book. The narration is great, and the story moves well to a gripping end. At just over one hour, it's a perfect book to hear while walking or gardening. I would like to read more by this author, and listen to more by this narrator. ( )

I really enjoyed this story. It was not very long, but was extremely touching all the same. It touched on the strong need for connection to others, and the struggle when that need is not meant. It stayed positive and never stopped believing in humanity and I believe that is a very important moral that people need to be exposed to more often. The descriptions were very well done and I could easily picture the landscapes and the scenes in the book.

I would recommend this book to people who need a little bit of faith in humanity and strength. ( )

I didn't expect much from a book that was as short as this one is. Which is only a little bit over an hour to listen to. There's surprisingly though quite a bit going on in this story even if it is a bit fast-paced. I would have liked to see more to the story and explored Skaluni's life longer. but it is a very good story for exactly what it is. The story has a bit of a moral in it being that just because somebody looks different doesn't mean they're not part of the same tribe and that even once accepted by the majority it doesn't mean that everybody is always willing to accept you. The narrator did a very good job at going through the story and keeping your attention on what was happening and engaged to listening. He also spoke very clearly.

In My Opinion, this is a great story for a quick read that may even pull at your heartstrings a bit.

I give this short story 5 Howlers out of 5. ( )
