Rex, a boy from a "small moon in the Gamma Quadrant" who lives on his parent's moog farm has big plans to become the king of space by creating an army and crushing other planets and solar systems. Although he has big plans he still must go to school where his class must make robots. He plans on making a robot that will crush other robots. His teacher, Miss Brain, is not impressed with his robot and asks his mom and dad to come into school where they are told that the other kids were upset about their robots being crushed. Later that day Rex has his robot dig a warbot factory and he asks his friend Blip to help in his factory. Blip thinks this is all for an extra-credit school assignment. During the weekend Rex convinces his parent's that he's sleeping over at a friends house but instead he defeats the Western Spiral. He then decides to coronate himself and show the coronation to everyone in the universe as he declares himself king. This angers Emperor Bob and the Galactic Alliance, who think Rex is acting badly. Rex kidnaps Emperor Bob's daughter, Princess Kooki. The Galactic Alliance shows up at Rex's house for the princess. Rex is nervous and tells his parents everything he's been up to, plus he says he does not "want to play" any longer. Rex's mom is able to convince the Galactic Alliance to take back the princess and simply leave. They comply and Rex crawls into bed, this time with a bigger plan to take over the universe. This book has amazing illustrations, which are, at times, presented like a graphic novel, and a fun, imaginative storyline that is highly engaging for children. It allows for an entertaining discussion about space and other planets.

This book is about Rex, who lives on the moon. He comes up with a plan to build a robot to help him care for the farm. When is he forced to go to school, he is bullied by his peers for wanting to be King of Space. When there is a project that he is required to create a robot, but he takes things a bit too far. He gets in trouble with the Galactic Alliance. I enjoyed this book as it was based in space, which I found very interesting. ( )

Rex lives on a moon with his parents and takes care of a moog farm. He is forced to go to school with other aliens that make fun of him for wanting to be the King of Space. A project comes up where he has to create a robot and leads to making a war robot factory. He gets in trouble by the Galactic Alliance. Luckily mom comes to the rescue and clears up the situation.

Rex devises a plan to become the king of space and builds robots to help him along the way. It may be fun to have children make designs of their own robots and possibly learn about robots there are now. ( )

The illustrations in this book were absolutely AMAZING! I believe this is the dream among children. After all, who wouldn't want to rule space? ( )
