Kristine Grayson's popular Fates Trilogyâ??Simply Irresistible, Absolutely Captivated and Totally Spellboundâ??together in one volume. The Fates, who are in charge of True Love, anger Zeusâ??who hates True Love. Love has never worked for him. So he decides to depose them and put his teenage daughters in charge. That puts loveâ??and lifeâ??in jeopardy. And it's up to the Kineally siblings to rescue them. The Kineallys all have magic but don't realize it, at least at first. They think they're pretty normalâ??a comic book collector, an accountant, and a psychologist. But they're not normal. Neither are their heroic love interests. Together, they must save the Fates and find love, one couple at a time."[Simply Irresistible] is an enchanting blend of sweet romance, mythology, and magic as Grayson puts her own unique magical stamp on figures from Greek myths and fairy tales, including a deliciously over-the-top super villain and a hero who inspired the creation of Superman. And Grayson's clever, humor-tinged writing is absolutely delightful."â??Booklist"Kristine Grayson paints a vivid picture of Las Vegas, the glitzy tourist side, the seedier side that the tourists don't see, and the parts that are inhabited by faeries and the mage. The characters are just as colorful (sometimes literally) and just as well drawn."â??Romance Review Today"Rounding out her Fates trilogy, the spellbinding Grayson again gives readers their money's worth by taking the familiar and turning it on its ear, with humor and charm."â??RT Book ReviewsCalled "The Reigning Queen of Paranormal Romance" by Best Reviews, bestselling writer Kristine Grayson has made a name for herself publishing light, slightly off-skew romance novels about Greek Gods, fairy tale characters, and the modern world. It's a neat idea - the subset of magic users grows stronger over time and installs rules to help keep the status quo. The oldest decree themselves above the rules, and hence instigate a plan to ensure they're the rules will never apply to them. As with all such plans the full consequences are never clear. Our heroes are a family of adopted magically gifted siblings, none of whom know they're endowed with great power. The Fates who were the original lawyers and have been ousted by the gods, have prophicised a way fro them to regain their former glory. It involves out hapless heroes meeting their soulmates and stealing back their fabled Spinning wheel of Life, from the mages oldest enemies the Fae.
The first book sets up the world and introduces the first couple. The 2nd book introduces the Fae, who's magic runs counter to the emotionally driven Love base of the 'traditional' pseudo-greek mages. And the third completes the story - but without any of the world building that made the previous two more enjoyable. ( )
