The NetGalley blurb was insufficiently clear about what "Bookburners Season 3 Episode 1" is and I was startled when the story ended after about 20 minutes of reading. Not even a novella, it seems that these truly are serials, presented one episode at a time and then compiled and published as a "Season". To appreciate Bookburners Season 3 Episode 1 you need to search out Bookburners Season 1 and Season 2.

I have not done that and so I can only comment that this episode is well written and understandable despite my lack of preparation. However, I am not interested in books like this, especially those featuring multiple writers, so I won't be looking at any more of the Bookburner Serials.

I have no idea why this tiny text is offered as a stand-alone on Amazon.
