While sometimes it seems like the life of these forgotten places fades faster than interior lights of a locked car - other places, such as Shaniko
keep at least a small glow, refusing to go out. I will always say I believe that it’s important for us to save these memories in hopes of making them
last forever. I’m here now, and plan to save as many stories as possible while I have the chance.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. That's all you really need to know. There is some text, comprised of little snippets of story and history, and the author is not an author so much as a photographer, if you see what I mean. That doesn't matter. He is one hell of a photographer.



If you love gorgeous pictures of old dying things, or just gorgeous pictures, or ghost towns, or the decaying remnants at the edges of the American dream, this book is totally worth your time. The original is available on Amazon for Kindle, but the author just Kickstarted a hard copy reprint, so maybe it will be available to all in tree book someday soon. (Full disclosure, I totally Kickstarted this to get an ebook copy, because why wouldn't I? Just look at this!)
