I gave 4 stars to her first one but only giving 3 stars to this one. Even though I read the first one a while back also, I remembered all the characters well. All in all, it was a good read and plot, but a sad one in many ways. I liked all of the sisters, Caroline, Sloane and Emerson and their mother Ansley (must be a southern name) and their lives all living in Peachtree Bluff, GA and their grandmother who was living in the big house with Ansley. I have the 3rd book also and will be reading that one eventually and will probably read her future ones in this series coming up too just to see how it all pans out.
