There were two brothers, John and Edward, sons of Christopher, both of whom emigrated to Massachusetts, John in 1639 and Edward in 1643. John was the first settler of Cambridge village, and both lived and died in what is now known as Newton, Massachusetts, this town having been set off from Cambridge. They and their descendants are well described in a paper read by Mr. John Noble, clerk of the Supreme Judicial Court of Boston before the Colonial Society of Massachusetts, at a meet ing held in 1903.
