I'm voluntarily reviewing a free advance reader copy I received from the author.

Zach is a shy guy who blushes constantly. Craig sees the blushing as a challenge, until he realizes how much it bothers Zach. They form a tentative relationship as they get to know each other, and it felt organic in the way they came together and got to know each other. There were communication glitches throughout as we see insecurities come out and we meet evil family members, but fortunately the guys overcome those hurdles.

I enjoyed the majority of the book. There were times where it was a bit much for me in the kink area (Zach, despite being super shy, really loved the idea of gang bangs). These parts were well written and orchestrated, but at first, I felt like Craig wasn't on board and it felt a little out of character for Craig to go along with it. Eventually, you see that it all works out, but it was a bit heavy at first.

This is JD Chambers first book, and I can tell you that if the rest of the books are like this one, I will have no problem with reading them all the second they come out.

Before I get into this review, I want to make it clear that this is an LGBT romance, and if that offends you, then you should definitely not read this book. Make sure you read responsibly, because otherwise you aren't being fair to yourself or the author.

So, the book. It is a lovely, sweet romance, with great sex and a soupcon of kink, which was really nice and really hot.

Zach has always been the people pleaser and self-starter. He graduated college in 3 years, started his own business, and is killing himself to make his family happy. He's also very self-conscious and socially awkward, especially around guys that he thinks are hot.

Craig has a very successful job working at a video game store with Zach's roommate. When Zach brings lunch in for Ben, Craig sees him and thinks how cute he is when he starts blushing. However, he thinks that maybe Ben and Zach have something going on. When he realizes they don't, Ben helps him manipulate a situation where Craig has to apologize to Zach and start to get them together.

I loved this story, I really did. Zach and Craig are so stinking cute together. There were some parts that were very sad, and I spent some time worried about whether or not they are going to get together. Overall, a fantastic story, one in which there is a lot of conflict and a lot of resolution. I'm looking forward to the next parts of the story. ( )

Great contemporary romance set in Colorado. I enjoyed all the characters and plot. ( )
