This book is about my two favorite things; colors and nature. Each page is dedicated to a color and features animals plants and other natural phenomena associated with the colors.The illustrations are also very nice as they are photographs of plants and animals surrounded by variations of the colors ex salmon, flush, rose ( )

Great for visualizing. Uses actual photos nature instead of illustrations. I am able to use the photos to engage children in what they see on the pages. I would use with Kinder & 1st grade. ( )

This book is composed of beautiful poems about nature. The poems are about the colors in nature and describes those items of color in nature. This book of poetry would be helpful to teach poetry but also if can help students learn their colors. The illustrations add to the power of the poetry used in this book. ( )
