Great book for boosting kids self esteem when they feel down or get put down. The book is great with helping children mute out the bad thoughts that discourage them and keep trying. Ages 3-6 Pierce Country Library

Zoe is young girl with big dreams of being everything from an astronaut to the president. She constantly has to ignore the little voice in her head that tells her she is not good enough. In the end she defiantly tells the little voice to go away and proudly exclaims that she can indeed be anything she wants and don't tell me I can't! The illustrations are beautiful depictions of all the professions Zoe dreams of being when she grows up. ( )

This book is about a child who is thinking about all the things she could be. She believes she can be anything she wants to be, but then she begins to doubt herself when she starts asking what if questions. She then decides to begin reading about all the things she could be. ( )
