this book was blah. I skimmed most of it.

1) twice by my count the narrator implied she was pregnant but she wasn't???
2) what was that ending?
3) transphobic language? ( )

Most of it was really fantastic.
Unfortunately, it got really long winded in the epilogue.
There were also small areas that got overly descriptive about mundane things.
Other than that, the suspense/crime elements were spot on fantastic. They were tantalizing and compelling. The world build was in depth and very well done.

The adult romance was hot and sweet & beyond steamy. I love the way Snap guided Rosa through her ordeal. How gentle and careful he was with her yet staying solid on what protecting her.
Snap and Rosalie were fantastic characters.

All the other supporting characters were well defined.
It was great to meet Rosalie's mom. She was charming and very loveable.
Seeing the other characters, their parts in the story & how the changes in their lives was exceptional.

You feel like the characters and their world are real and they live next door or down the road from you. Or, at least, you want them to. You like them so much want them to be real. ( )

Now THIS was what I have been waiting for. There was something missing from this series. To the point that I was losing interest in the actual story. The characters were the only thing keeping my interest. The ending of this one though? Yeah, now I'm sucked in.

Hated how Rosalie had been treated in Shy's story but KA made it up by giving her the HEA that she deserved. I hope the story continues with the momentum that this epilogue had because it was GOOD. ( )

We learned of Rosalie Holloway in Shy and Tab's story. I always thought she got the short end of the stick. Yes, I know Shy and Tab belong together but the way she was just dumped...that had to suck.

Snapper came in to the picture during High and Millie's story. By this time Rosie had moved on. Her old man was in a rival MC but they were headed down a dark path that Rosie did not like. Since her man had a small streak of human decency in him she reached out to Chaos to see if they could de-rail Bounty and put another crimp in Valenzuela's plan to take over Denver.

When we join their story it's bad.

Rosalie has been delivered to Bounty by her old man and they have taken out their brand of justice on her. She's been beaten, choked, kicked and spat upon. Oddly enough they don't kill her.

Snap finds her, gets her to the hospital and then the war of love begins. We knew from the first that Snap had a thing for Rosalie. Why else would he go along with her insistence that any information get passed face-to-face. And Rosalie comes to the conclusion that she's been searching for someone to fill the hole left by her father, he was a biker but not in an MC. He left her with certain ideals that her man needed to have and be like. So while she's healing Snap is making things happen.

He moves all her belongs into one of his rental properties. He takes care of personal business and sets her up with protection. Chaos of course are feeling this deep seeing as they had promised to have her back since she was providing them the information they needed to dismantle Bounty and have another step in taking down Valenzuela.

It moves along at a steady pace.....her trying to keep Snap at arm's length and him not letting her. In the end we know what happens....love wins.

I know along with Rush, Shy/Tab, Joker/Carissa that they are of the next generation of Chaos but I didn't feel as invested in them as I get with the original members. I'm still waiting for Hounds story.

Snapper and Rosie.
This was a good story, it does end in the epilogue on a bit of a cliffhanger and the next book is July so quite a wait but not too bad.
This couple were quite unique in that they were both happy not be the life and soul of the party.
They were calm and totally wrapped up in each other.
The reasons Rosie stayed in the MC life were interesting. I did feel the 'Shy' issue was glossed over, he did wrong by her in a previous book and it was just all forgiven. A lot of fans had an issue with his actions around breaking it off with her and I would have liked to have seen that examined more.
It felt a bit quick for me, I know they've know each other for a while but still....
References to Tex at Indy's coffee shop and other sideline relationships which was interesting.
A good story, not out of this world but worth a read esp if you have read the previous books in the series.
