Sheep

This book is about a sheep, named Russell, who cannot go to bed. He tries all different activities to help him fall asleep, but nothing seems to work. He finally decides to count the sheep around him and he finally falls asleep...maybe for a little too long because everyone got up before him the next morning.

There must be a way to get a sheep to sleep!

All the sheep are falling asleep--except Russell. What's a sheep to do? Count stars... Count feet...

How did I manage to not read this book until now??? It's funny, it has SHEEP, it's a great bedtime book, and it's entertaining for adults and kids. Russell the Sheep is (almost) my new favorite sheep. (Shaun the Sheep will always win, though.) ( )

This was not a big hit, but cute enough. My 5yo niece listened politely and then asked why he didn't take an Ambien. ( )
