What a ride this was... not sure how I want to rate this. 3 stars? maybe 4 stars, Review soon! ( ) [a:Trisha Wolfe|4928927|Trisha Wolfe|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1616249503p2/4928927.jpg] Is your mind as Dark & Twisted as your writing? 5 Solid Stars This story is super twisted and dark. Think of a Courtship of Two Psychopaths Both mc's are mentally TWISTED in different ways. Or are they? One is a serial killer the other a psychologist. The writing is smooth and flows so easy. The pace is fast. You get so wrapped up in what is going on between these two you just can't quit reading. It kept me on the edge of sanity trying to figure these two out. And that ending! I can not wait to read the 2nd book in this duet and lucky me I already own it! I am doing the Happy Dance! There is some great steamy build up to a really fu*ked up full blown adult sex scene. Hell, even the build up is twisted insanity! I LOVED this story and highly recommend to All Lovers of THE DARK AND TWISTED This book wasn’t what I expected really. It was still enjoyable just not a favorite of mine. The main character, London, is a criminal psychologist and this is a forbidden romance story between her and her client, Grayson, whom is a serial killer. This book is a mix of Dexter, Harley Quinn & Joker, and a little dash of Saw. It was very different than what I’m used to. Grayson reminds me of Dexter but a little more twisted, which is where the sprinkle of Saw elements come in. Grayson presents traps/puzzles for his victims and some tend to be gruesome. The relationship between London and Grayson is very similar to that of Harley Quinn & Joker. Their "romance" was very twisted and it wasn't so much of a romance as it was mind games. But, considering the scenario of this book I guess that is to be expected. It wasn't a bad book, in my opinion. It was just an average read for me. Some may love this book, but it definitely won't be for everyone. This book is very dark, with very heavy topics that could be triggering to some, so just know that going into it. The ending of this book is what makes me want to continue on with the sequel. If it hadn't of been for the way this book ended I may not have decided to continue on with this story. 5 holy hell what did I just read Stars From page one I was sucked in. This book. Holy hell. This is mind screwing at its finest. The suspense. Every word was a puzzle piece. London. Holy hell. I loved her from the start in the first courtroom scene. She was hands down one of the most riveting characters that I have ever read. Grayson. Sweet lord. That man was the biggest enigma of all. I couldn't figure him out. Which in turn, only piqued my interest even more. The chemistry between the two of them was intense. Normally I'd be upset that it hadn't been acted upon before the end of the book. Not in this case. I cannot recommend this book enough. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
