Really I'd classify this as erotic romance. Also, I felt like this book was almost romantic, but was a rehashing of all the biker books so the romance fell flat. Keely was meh. Smelled like Naomi, Tack's first wife to me. Hound was boring. Furthermore, the man we all basically care about is Rush. So let's just get there. ( )

I loved every second of it.

The beginning is incredible and takes us back in time to when Tack 1st took over Chaos.
The middle is breathtaking.
The end is spectacular.
The whole story was phenomenal.

Hound & Keely burn the pages up throughout the story.
They made me laugh and tear up. They also steamed up my kindle and my glasses. Their story was intoxicating.
The two of them and Jean Bug stole my heart.

Keely's boys are Awesome.

The mystery, crime and suspense kept me enthralled. I could not stop reading.
There are some really fantastic twist I did NOT see coming.

And.....Color me surprised, Ms. Ashley kept her rambling descriptions (for her) to a minimum. Lmbo ( )

I was expecting after the novella and that amazing ending that this would at least end with the scene where time seemed to almost repeat itself that Snap was witnessing, especially with the scene having blood and betrayal. It tied in with the backstory of the club and with Black, Keely, and Hound. That didn't happen. That disappointed me.

I did like the story part of Hound and Keely though. They deserved this time. The "war" did start picking up toward the end but it all seems to little to late. I'm curious how this will end. Hopefully, Rush will have a good story. ( )

DNF at 30%. I usually like KA’s stuff but I could not get into this story and the characters weren’t doing it for me either. Its a shame but I do not even feel the need to push my way through this one. ( )
