It was almost a 3/5, but I didn't respect Emily at all and I was not happy with the ending. I didn't feel the romance or mystery that I did in Reese's other choices. (

This cleverly told mystery will have you gasping from the deceptive red-herrings and multiple well earned surprises. Infidelity and a nasty mother-in-law rule the plot. (

What did I miss here? Why is everyone raving? I'm not into this. It was slow and really felt like it had been done before. I've read this story in other books. The relationship between Emily and Adam was completely unbelievable (as in I couldn't believe it, ha.) And there were so many red flags with Adam, oh my gosh, I couldn't deal with how Emily was so passive, especially with her BEST FRIEND for goodness' sake. I was GLAD it ended the way it because I was very concerned it was promoting that kind of behaviour. They were placeholder characters and of little interest.

Not for me. Hopefully for others. (
