This volume of the NovAntiqua Latin-English edition of the Summa Theologiae of St. Thomas Aquinas is the first part of what will be released as Volume IX when it is completed. Volume IXb will be released at the same time as the one-volume Volume IX. This Volume IXa contains the beginning of the Treatise on the Sacraments: The Sacraments, in General; Baptism; Confirmation; the Eucharist; and the part of Penance contained in the Tertia Pars. They will likely discover, as many have before them, that Thomas is more easily understood in the tongue in which he wrote than he is in any other.… (mehr)
