First of all I hate the cover.
This is a good story, there is so much of it I liked.
Stud and Eva.

Eva is such a strong heroine with a real vulnerable side that she keeps hidden. She works in construction with her brothers and is treated like one of the boys and is under valued by her dad especially.

Stud has his own issues and he is a 'player'.

I am not keen on the Hero being intimate with anyone other than the heroine after they meet and sadly there are several occasions and several women who Eva witnesses him with.
Admittedly they are not together, so technically no cheating but at 40% he's still at it even though he's got to know Eva better by then and started 'something ' with her though they haven't been physical and still not together, for me he has certainly crossed a line at this point where it's not acceptable, to me for the Hero to be intimate with anyone else.
He has his reasons but still.....

The heroine has interest from another party and I almost wished it would work out for her with him, which is never a good sign.

Certain events happen that mean some time passes so he has not been intimate with anyone else before he starts to pursue her.

There is humour esp an elderly relative that turns up.

I love the writing of this author but I'm not keen on the other woman/man scenes.

There is a side story about 'Table'. I can't wait for his book (#4), he doesn't agree with cheating so that may be more my kinda Hero.

Stud is a Motor Club Romance and I am totally in love with this book. This is the second book from the Dragon Runners series. The narration by ML Nystrom is amazing. The story is totally engaging and I couldn't put it away until the last page. Stud is an amazing character and I love him. Eva is one hell of a heroine. She is not a regular helpless girl but a very strong woman who can throw a punch or two when needed. She works on the construction site like a man but also holds a passion for sewing in her heart. I thought it was very very cute. Stud has a bad past and terrible relationship with his family but he finds love and trust at the biker's club. The story says character, trust and honesty among family members are more important than riches and false prestige. I was not that much into motor club stories and biker romances and now my opinion has completely changed.

I want to read more and more books from ML Nystrom. I must say she has a magic in her writing. I can't wait to read her next book. The pace is perfect, situations are very realistic, characters are strong and beautiful and the story is subtle. Stud is a wonderful read.

I received Stud as an ARC copy. It is not my typical genre preference, but I wanted to give it a try. Eva works in the family construction business with her dad and brothers. She puts off a very tough personality being around males her whole life. Her family is in charge of building a new bar for the motorcycle club that Stud belongs too . Stud has a reputation of not wanting to be tied down and has several ladies wanting to be his "old lady" . He meets Eva and something about her interests him. They spend a lot of time just hanging out at first watching movies and Stud gets jealous when another "brother" in the club tries to "claim her." When things don't work out with Table, Stud starts to tell Eva how he feels.
I really enjoyed the character development that I felt was lacking in the first book in the series. I was very entertained by the book and had to keep reading to find out if Stud and Eva were going to make it. ( )

I didn't realize this was a book 2 when I requested it, or I wouldn't have requested it. Fortunately, I don't feel like I missed too much in book 1. The characters weren't really all that interesting to me.

The book is REALLY short, so it doesn't take long to read and it's not bad. I just don't need to read the others in the series. If you like bikers or are a biker, it might be more interesting to you. ( )

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..This book was ok, not my favorite but not the worst. So we have Stud and apparently he is just that a Stud considering he is a manwhore and have woman fighting for him and willing to drop to their knees to giving him pleasure. I almost stopped reading when he was interested in Eva and spending time with her but then allows another woman to give him a bj, but then I also remembered that they really were not in a relationship and he just saw her with another MC member and got jealous and reasoned with himself that she deserved better than him. not that I am condoning but I got..Eva was supposedly this strong woman but she was also not immune to Stud, however when she saw the second BJ she decided nope not for her and was willing to give another MC a shot, til that got shot down (you need to read to find out) As she and Stud spend time together it gets much better..His family is craaaaazy! ( )
