Eh. Nothing wrong with it - except that it doesn't quite match Justine Davis' Whiskey River - but somehow the characters never quite caught me up. Perfectly fine, and perfectly forgettable. I forgot to review it, in fact - caught it later. (

Tobi reconnects with high school friend Travis upon returning to her hometown. Despite the fact that she has intimacy issues and a serious phobia about planes and flying, Tobi immediately falls into a relationship and bed with pilot Travis who seems to have no issues at all. A hot mess and the perfect guy-- not the best recipe for a solid relationship. I have a problem with a smart professional woman not dealing with her serious issues until "Mr. Right" swans into the picture and rescues her This was a pleasant enough romance but not enough for me to consider reading further in the series. (

I received this book in exchange for a review. Normally I don't read many contemporary romances, but I found myself really enjoying this one. The characters were likeable in my opinion and the sweet romance between the two main characters was perfect. Although, some parts I did find a little hard to believe, such as how quickly Tobi was able to get over her fear of flying and airplanes, but for the story and the length of the book, that made the time frame of conquering her fear acceptable. I found it a quick and easy read (I read it in less than a day) and am looking forward to the next book in the series (which will be focusing on Zack and Laurel). (

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) This was an ok book, the problem I was having was with the heroine Tobi,. Tobi had a tragic experience years ago and now she didn't know how to love or really let anyone in, so she went back and forth with Travis, should she shouldn't she, I get that she had issues but I think she needed to get help and stop being so indecisive. Travis was a nice guy and seeing as they knew each other from years ago he was more than happy to have a relationship. I am hoping we get his sister Laura's book with Zack. (
