The Best Seller Book #1 from MY CRAZY STORIES Series. "Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness." - Oprah Bratty Sally is the prettiest girl in town with her gorgeous purple hair. To become even prettier, this little queen decides not to cut her hair ever again. She is reaaaaally stubborn even when her hair grows out of control. It's OK... Stubbornness is a sign of confidence, right? But how about the courage to change your decision when things don't go your way? Isn't that confidence too? Kids will giggle reading this cheeky story and learn that being flexible does not undermine your confidence, instead it will equip you to face negative situations and become the ultimate tool to succeed in life. "For anyone who has read one of Daniel's stories, this set of books is the gold at the end of the treasure hunt! ... Strongly recommended" - Grady Harp / Amazon Top Reviewer for Children's Books. BOOK 1 from the quirky series MY CRAZY STORIES kids and parents are loving and educators are recommending! Read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for older children.… (mehr)

This is a children's book about a young girl who thinks that her hair makes her beautiful, and if she grows it longer, she will be even more beautiful. However, she doesn't realize that her long hair causes problems - keeping it clean and out of the way, in addition to the heaviness of all that hair! But, since she has courage, she can take care of the problem.
Cute book for kids, with bright colors. ( )

When Sally is complemented on her beautiful purple hair she decides to let it grow. She is never going to cut it. Unfortunately for Sally, having such long hair brings along some problems. It is always dirty from dragging in the dirt. She has trouble with her cat wanting to lay on it all the time. She has trouble keeping it washed and dried. This is a book about change and how sometimes change is exactly what we need. ( )

I WON’T CUT MY HAIR! by Daniel Georges
Colorful children's book and offer of a free ebook at the front.
What I love about this book is the words are small but a double tap will make them big so you can read them to your child.
Sally has purple hair and everybody loves her. She thinks if she grows her hair longer then others will like her even more so she doesn't cut it.
Her hair grew so long that everybody was stepping on it.
She had to ask her mom for help because she could no longer brush it.
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
Cute story. ( )

I received this book From the author in a Library Thing giveaway. As a mom of 4 I'm am reading quite a lot of children's books. I really enjoyed this book because it explains the reason Sally is being stubborn about not cutting her hair. It also shows how much she was willing to go through for vanity. I like the fact that she was the one in charge of the change in her life as well, she was not forced into the decision by another person. It was very cute and I loved the fact that in the end she has a very short hair style which can give young girls who don't have a choice about having to cut off all their hair more confidence showing them you don't need to have long hair to be beautiful. I’ve received a MOBI.file of this book from the author through a giveaway he had on LibraryThing and the following is my honest opinion.

Being the voracious Book Reviewer, I am, continuously reading adult-themed books. from time to time I needs to have something to satisfy my inner-child and this book totally filled that requirement.

I can see the probably reason for Sally’s refusal to cut her beautiful hair. Being the prettiest girl in town, and albeit her hair is purple-colored, she wants to emulate Rapunzel and her long beautiful golden-colored hair, without a prince being involved.
With her friends repeatedly telling her how lovely her hair is, Sally gets egged on to keep it the way it is and not to cut it.

This gives Sally the impression that the long her hair the prettier she’ll be and makes her wanting to be the prettiest girl in the world and not just the town she lives in. It didn’t matter her hair had reached the sidewalk, becoming like a broom that creates dust clouds behind her as she walks.

So, what will it take for her to finally agree to having a haircut? Will it be people stepping it? Her cat using it as a pillow? Her hair not looking as beautiful as it once did? Or maybe it might be, not being the prettiest girl in town?

This is a wonderful story, along its marvelous illustrations that helps to heighten the visualization of the subliminal lesson the book teaches its young readers about vanity and being obstinate. Making the reason, I’ve given this book 5 STARS. ( )
