I'm incredibly impressed by this young woman. This is a collection of her speeches throughout 2018-2019. While there are a lot of similarities between speeches, they're all well written and some very powerful. Even more impressive when you see whom she was addressing and remembering she was only 16ish during this time.

I've earmarked a few things to research regarding climate change (crisis) now ... so she's had an impact on me! ( )

Greta’s speeches, which I wish was what was explained on the cover because it makes for poor reading compared to an organised text.

I do not mean to judge the Greta symbol as a future portent asking for emergency in cultural change “the house is falling down” but this actual book writing is not very good. ( )

No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference by Greta Thunberg is collection of some of her speeches.
The speeches cover how she started the school strike for climate and how Fridays for Future started and most importantly why its imperative that we pay attention to the acute crisis of climate change.

The climate crisis, in her words, is both the easiest and the hardest issue to solve. It's easy because we know what exactly we need to do in order to overcome this crisis and protect our Earth. But it's extremely difficult because our entire world's economy depends on burning fossil fuels, which is exactly what lead to the crisis in the first place. However, she says that it's not impossible and eventhough we do not have a lot of time, we can still act.

She criticizes the politics and the companies responsible for this ordeal and responds to criticisms that she personally recieved as a result of her activism. Greta also discusses the needs to be met within 2030 in terms of carbon emissions in order to prevent a chain reaction beyond our control, which could ruin our civilization.
This book is a very short and essential read but at the same time, it can seem very repetitive. I love Greta and the cause she works so ardently for but the book could have been put together in a better way. Nevertheless, she speaks passionately and the more she mentions the crisis at hand, the more we feel driven to do something.
We must do whatever we can in order to bring more attention and find solutions. In her words, "To do your best is no longer good enough. We must all do the seemingly impossible."

School strikes for climate across the world has raised awareness and joined students as well as adults from different wakes of life to fight for our future.

'Everything needs to change. And it has to start today'In August 2018 a fifteen-year-old Swedish girl, Greta Thunberg, decided not to go to school one day. Her actions ended up sparking a global movement for action against the climate crisis, inspiring millions of pupils to go on strike for our planet, forcing governments to listen, and earning her a Nobel Peace Prize nomination. This book brings you Greta in her own words. Collecting her speeches that have made history across Europe, from the UN to mass street protests, No One Is Too Small to Make A Difference is a rallying cry for why we must all wake up and fight to protect the living planet, no matter how powerless we feel. Our future depends upon it.With new speeches from Vienna, Paris, New York and Montreal

Thunberg's appeal to us now is slightly different. Her simple emotion and "black-and-white" rationalism suggest authenticity and trust to her audience, many of whom are wary of adult experts suspected of harbouring hidden agendas. [...] And as a small, isolated figure, with her pigtails and open face, poised bravely behind an enormous lectern, facing down a roomful of powerful, suited adults, she embodies what it's like to be an individual who yearns for change, against a juggernaut of commercial and political interests defending the status quo. I wonder if many of us right now, across a multitude of political persuasions, see ourselves in Thunberg, in the fragility of our political and environmental hopes, and our sense of personal impotence. As she says: "I'm too young to do this. We children shouldn't have to do this." A greater readiness to involve ourselves in collective action would go a long way towards lessening not just Thunberg's vulnerability, but our own.
