Let it be clear that the Very Hungry Caterpillar is a hidden object on each page....it is NOT another hungry caterpillar tale. But I do love lift the flaps. I will enjoy seeing Audrey become more dexterous and lifting the flaps herself one day.

It's not very original though. There is no story. Just various characters saying goodnight! ( )

The very hungry caterpillar is crawling along at the end of the day and each page asks who is wondering home to bed and the children can guess with you before you open the flap on each page. Also, children are asked who is in the tree so high and who is quacking on the ground, and cuddled up in the barn and who is cuddled up like a little green ball. I would recommend this for any collection with toddler books and books about the very hungry caterpillar. It is a great knowing stories book for young learners and having them guess who is under the flap on each page is great for the beginning critical thinker. ( )
