Exhibition of 70 artisans and 75 plastic artists that included the participation of artists Francisco Coronel, Irma Palacios, Jan Hendrix, Manuel Felgue?rez, Rafael Cauduro, Pedro Friedeberg and Brian Nissen, amongst many more who collaborated in the creation of art for the exhibition. The teams "Artisan-Artist" had three creative options: 1) that both would plan and participate in the creation; 2) that the artisan would intervene the work by an artist or 3) that the artist concluded a piece started by an artisan. The materials and techniques were as diverse as the crafts: black clay, "popotillo art" (straw mosaics), tinplate, textiles, ceramics, glass, etc. The outcome was a complex mosaic of visions, experiences and craftsmanship proposals that amongst others included a gigantic tinplate sculpture where artist Ricardo Ragazzoni, worked along Tirso Juventino Cuevas in Oaxaca; artisan Ismael Guardado of Tlaquepaque did a reinterpretation of a Felgue?rez' piece, sculptor Antonio Nava Tirado worked along with Roberto Franco Sanchez, Enna Negron and Antonio Guerra created a textile collage; artist Pilar Bordes collaborated with papel picado ("perforated paper") artisan Constantino Reynoso and more.
