This is a great book for children of all ages. I has a very fun and creative way of teaching kids about the many different shapes that you can find in the sea. ( )

So, children can begin to see how when drawing, it is often a series of shapes that when put together makes an image. This could easily be used to create art out of shapes using either cut paper shapes, or having students trace or draw shapes free handed. Also, students could practice writing and spelling by writing the names of the shapes they used, even directly onto the shape to increase learning that shape. ( )
