Anna Dewdney's beloved Llama Llama is growing up and learning to read! Throughout the school day , the teacher helps Llama Llama and the other children practice their letters, shows word cards, reads stories, and brings them to the library where they can all choose a favorite book. By the end of the day, Llama Llama is recognizing words and can't wait to show Mama Llama that he's becoming a reader!

This is not my favorite Llama Llama book. However, I use it in my Every Child Ready to Read sessions all the time. Why? Well, it talks about letters forming words. Words forming sentences. How sentences form books.......

There isn't too much to say about this book. But for fans of Llama Llama it is enjoyed. ( )

And the last Llama Llama book is as great as the rest. Nice work, Anna Dewdney. ( )

Good book for younger grades, can be used to show some rhymes. This is also a good book because it talks about the main character learning to love to read. ( )
