The second half of this was a lot better than the first half, I tend to get frustrated with the whole "my parents don't believe me!" sections of these books... The second half was really good and spooky though. My only other issue is that she mentions how fat her dad is way too much... it's just not funny ( )

This probably would have terrified me if I read it as a little kid, great story. ( )

I thiiiink this is my first time reading this? Well my first that I recall anyways, though I do know I read a lot of Goosebumps when I was younger. This one didn’t ring a bell with me anyways. I thought going back to read this one since it’s the technical first of the series would be fun. I thought it was ok, I mean I feel like I’m going to enjoy any Goosebumps book really, but with that being said this one was probably my least favorite I have read so far. It just didn’t have quite as much going on as the others I have read. And was a pretty basic haunted house type of story. And the ending kind of confused me…but it was still an entertaining short read and I’ll always love R.L. Stine’s writing. ( )

Ages: 7 years old +

Unrealistic plot. Kinda weird. Didn't really enjoy it. But it's middle grade and I'm hardly the target audience. ( )
