Suspense

I have not read any of James Patterson but decided to give him a shot. I found this one not bad. I was heartbroken the number of babies that were being kidnapped from the same hospital even after increased security Then to have one mom cut open to steal her baby was even more heartbreaking. Sad to say but I'm sure the baby snatching for medical purposes happens more than we know and it turns out to be by trusted doctors and nurses that are caught up in something they just can't get out of. I don't understand though why the title is The midwife Murders. All in all since I have read all my favorite authors books I will read more of James Patterson. ( )

If you like Patterson, you will like this one. You will love or dislike the lead. I personally found her annoying but the character was certainly well developed. I found the ending less satisfying than I like. I want more answers and closing. ( )

This is a typical ‘airplane read’ quality book. Reasonably fast paced, passed the time for a long flight but not something to spend hardcover prices on. ( )
