OH MY GOODNESS!! I was captivated by this unknown author to me, and I could not read the book FAST enough! I was ONE step behind Tess all the way and I really felt sorry for the little boy whom was not loved by his parents. This is an excellent way to get to know the author! ( )

Leslie Wolfe certainly knows how to write a compelling story. Whether it is a novella or a full-length novel, she grabs my attention from the first page. The plots are fast-paced with nail-biting tension and I am morbidly fascinated by her psychopathic killers. I am just glad that by the end they receive the justice they deserve. I am especially fond of Tess Winnett's brand of justice.

Tess Winnett is, without a doubt, my favourite fictional character. Not only is she intelligent and resourceful, she is compassionate, dedicated to her job and is unafraid to bend the rules when necessary. "Girl with a Rose" saw Tess at her best and I was with her every step of the way as she raced against time to save Kaylee. An entertaining read. ( )
