I remember other english classes reading this book in high school and feeling glad that I didn't have to read it - the title made it sound uninteresting. I have just read it and loved it. Easy to read but great a story. I loved how the author portrayed the struggles of Andy's friends in helping to protect him from the "real" world. What a fantastic relationship they all had. If only there was more of this community spirit in the world today. ( )
