Sweet, simple, and comforting "stories" that helped lull me to sleep many nights. Appreciate the reminders to breathe, calm down, observe, etc. Nice little recipes, etc throughout the book as well. ( ) The title describes this book perfectly....yet even though nothing much happens, each story is cozy and calming. It truly soothed my mind so that I was able to sleep well all through the night (even easily returning to sleep after a quick bathroom trip). I read a few stories each night and now that I'm finished with the book, I hope I will still be sleeping restfully. The stories are just a couple pages each, and it is organized seasonally, beginning and concluding with winter. There are occasional tips, recipes, quotes, and drawings. All very easy to read and think about. No stress, no reason to stay up tossing and turning. It occurred to me the book's strategy could be a form of self-hypnosis or suggested behavior, but anyone who suffers from insomnia should be willing to give this a try. I recommend it!
