What I remember vividly from reading this book as a child was the main character cr ash ing down into a person having spaghetti and meatballs. ( )

Illustrations - Realistic Art

This book is about Walter and his dislike for going to bed and his love for jumping on the bed. He ends up jumping so hard on his bed that he breaks through 6 floors in his apartment building, picking up people and bringing down to the lobby with him.

I love this book because it has so many floors filled with illustrations that are better than the last. it is also just a very fun and interesting book with lots of fun characters and illustrations.

Walter's father told him no more jumping on the bed, and Walter finds out why.

This fictional children's picture book was a classic to read. It is similar to the tale of the ten monkey's jumping on the bed, however this story has a different twist. It has a similar lesson to learn, which is if you make a bad decision (ex: go against your parent's rules), there will be consequences. Tedd Arnold is both the author and illustrator, and he puts great detail into all of the mischief that Walter, the boy, gets into. There is a lack of diversity in this short story, considering all the people he runs into, but I don't seem to find a lot of diversity in a lot of children's books written in the 1990's. ( )
