This book is a nonfiction book about insects. It shows the comparison of what is an insect and what is not by placing an actual insect on one page and a worm or bug on another page. The book contains plenty of information that will be useful in helping someone distinguish between what is actual an insect and what is not.

I found this book very interesting because as an adult, I learned some things about the characteristics of insects that I didn't already know. There were things mentioned in the book that I considered an insect but found out that they are not, such as a worm.

I could utilize this book in a classroom setting by getting my students to discuss the difference between insects and none insects. I could also get them to draw pictures of insects and non insects by using some of the ones that were mentioned in the book.

This is an informational book about insects and how to tell them apart from other animals. With this book the reader learns how to identify and distinquish between what is an insect and what is not an insect. the reader also learns the characteristics to help them identify insects.

I really liked this book. I loved how it used real pictures and labeling to show children the insect examples.

I would use this book in the classroom while doing an intro to insects and have the children use what they learned from the book to identify other insects on worksheets and handouts or maybe flash cards and photographs shown on the docucam.
