Review
This book was so fun and creative! I loved the content integration told by a little Zombie! Although it is an elementary nutmeg and geared for 2nd and 3th graders, I shared it with my 5th graders. The illustrations were vibrant and fun, but also very educational with labels, diagrams and a little fictional humor.

It reminds me of the Fly Guy Presents Series by Tedd Arnold. It is a non-fiction book series with little anecdotes by a fly about all different non-fiction topics from bats and castles to police officers. When I taught second graders it was a great early readers series. I also learned that Stacy McAnulty wrote a whole series of Narrative Nonfiction texts about different science topics about space, sun and the ocean. ( )

This is a sweet book explaining all that our brains do for us. I would assign this book to 2nd to 4th graders. I would use this maybe around Halloween or to teach about the five senses. This story was super colorful and fun to read. ( )

This book could be used as a read aloud for primary aged students.
This book is about a zombie girl who loves to eat brains, but she also provides facts about brains and why they are so important.
I wouldn't use this book as a read aloud, simply because I could see it being scary for some younger students. The book is very creative in the way that it provides facts about human and animal brains, some students might be scared by the constant use of the zombie girl saying she wants to eat our brains because they are yummy.

This book is a informational book about brains. This book is very descriptive and talks about the five senses, if it feels pain etc...This book is great to have in the classroom for students who may be interested about knowing more about the brain. This book is targeted towards primary grade students. ( )

This book is recommended for primary students. This book talks about the brains different functions and how it differs from animal to animal. In my future classroom, this book could be used as a way for talking about differences between animals that go beyond physical appearances. ( )
