Danielle and her daughter Lucy are in Sacramento to visit John, brother and uncle, just in time for Lucy’s 6th birthday. What should have been a fabulous time of celebration became terrifying when everything crashed around them. The author takes the reader through danger, explosions, gunshots, kidnapping and murder in order to solve this mystery. Why are Danielle and her beautiful daughter being targeted? Can she possibly learn to trust that their safety really is uppermost in the mind of Special Agent Reece Bradley? Toss in some medical and romantic drama and you have a book you won’t want to put down!
