This needs to be in both the adult and children's section of every library. ( ) It is tricky to write a book that teaches a lesson without being didactic and moralizing, but How to Apologize pulls it off flawlessly, thanks to Wohnoutka's funny illustrations and LaRochelle's straightforward text. "Everyone makes mistakes. ... And when you've made a mistake that has hurt someone or something, the right thing to do is apologize. ... Apologizing can be hard, especially if the other person is mad...or if it's someone you don't like. But it's important to apologize anyway - even if that person owes you an apology too." Wohnoutka's funny creatures model good apologies (YES) and bad ones (NO), and for those who just can't apologize face-to-face, there's always the option of writing a note. And it's never too late to apologize and try to fix a mistake, or avoid making that same mistake again. Honestly, this should be required reading for all humans, of every age. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
