Oh the pitfalls of forbidden love. We met Sophie and Liam in book 1 of this series, and we see their friendship bloom. A fun aspect of this book was that it followed along with some of the same events and timelines of book 1, but told them through Sophie or Liam's perspectives to give more depth to each scene or event.

In the end, this was a story about a woman learning to come out of her shell and ask for what she wants, instead of just catering to the desires of others (even her loving family). It's also the story of a man learning that sometimes, a change in priorities can lead to the best possible outcomes. Loved this second installment in the series, onto the next one! ( )

Sophie and Liam!! Lauren Asher has a way with words. Her writing is very quotable.

This book was overall good but I felt that it was a little long through the middle. This one takes place during the same F1 season as book 1 which was enjoyable since you got to see Maya and Sophie's friendship from a different angle.

Sophie's dad was the real hero of the story.

Liam and Lukas's relationship it was good to see it be rekindled.

Make sure to read the extra epilogue it's fun to see everyone 14 years in the future. ( )

Es el primer libro que leo en inglés y debo de decir que no fue tan difícil de entender, por lo que puede ser un gran inicio.
Debo de admitir que al inicio me caía mal Liam porque parecía que solo pensaba con la cabeza incorrecta y desesperaba, pero conforme iba conociendo más a Sophie, me caía mejor. La química que tenían se veía a millas de distancia.
Me gustaron las escenas spicy y el dirty talk (10/10).
Creo que es una novela que se lee muy rápido y que te saca de un bloqueo lector (la verdad es que a mí me llamó la atención por la lista jaja).
