I absolutely loved how seriously this manga takes art.

“I have so many feelings […] The feeling of wanting to kill everyone with my art.”

This series also sparks creativity in me because I want to try the composition trick the art teacher told Yatora. Composition is key. Also, Yatora’s friends are so wholesome. If you weren’t an artist before, this series surely makes you want to become one.

I need to get around to watching the anime. c:

At this point in this series, Ooba-sensei, the cram school instructor, is the main reason I'm going to consider picking up the next volume. The rest of the book is the protagonist flailing around a bit as he tries to level-up his abilities in the final days before the big art school entrance exam. Side characters wander through the background, but only one really has any sort of meaningful moment in the book.

But loud, tall Ooba-sensei is there to keep things on track, and we even get a glimpse of her home life. ( )
